My mum used to have these very 80s-looking recipe cards in a huge notebook that was just a compilation of all sorts of recipes - clippings from newspapers, magazines, friends' handwritten recipes. There was just something so organic about it. I had intended to buy her a recipe folder for her birthday so that she could get rid of her old notebook and organise them.
