    Just a spoonful

It's getting cold here in my city. Being in Perth, we don't get the bitter winters of England, Japan and northeastern USA, but people sensitive to bleak weather still feel the seasonal affects. Of course, the routine of daily life doesn't let up - it's busy, stressful and sometimes full of people who are mean. Everyone wants stuff done before the end of the financial year. I just want a break. :( Well. A holiday is still a long way off, but I managed to find a tiny taste of it in spoonful, an independently produced booklet of bite-sized philosophy, happiness and inspiration. It's very pretty, feels nice in your hands and is small enough to finish in one bus ride or toilet trip. If you were lucky enough to get a hold of issue #1 before it sold out, you might be excited to know that they've added a creative crafty section in their more recent issues. It's not a holiday by any stretch, but it did brighten up my day. :)
